Deepika Kumari won women individual title at 34th National Archery Championship

Deepika Kumari (Jharkhand) retained the individual title, while in the men's
section Atanau Das (PSPB) emerged winner in the Individual Olympic Round of the
34th Senior National Archery Championship held at JRD Tata Sports complex
Jamshedpur on 25 December 2013.
>> It was her sixth consecutive
title.
>> Deepika by winning the sixth
National title consecutively has set the record of winning the most individual
titles at the national meet. Earlier it was Dola Banerjee who won five national
titles.
>> However, the record of winning
most individual titles is still held by Bengal archer Krishna Ghatak, with
seven consecutive titles between 1975 and 1982.
